Behind solid efforts from James Harden, Dwight Howard and Chandler Parsons, the Rockets destroyed an injury riddled Sacramento Kings’ squad 119-98 on Wednesday night.
Harden finished the night with 24 points, nine assists, two steals and two blocks while Dwight Howard finished with 26 points on 10-of-13 shooting, 13 rebounds and four blocks. Parsons provided 19 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in the win. The Rockets also got a big night from Omri Casspi who registered 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Isaiah Thomas and Derrick Williams led the way for the Kings on a really bad night. Thomas finished with 20 points and six assists while Williams tallied 22 points and 11 rebounds.
DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay played a combined 15 minutes and scored just six points before each player left the game with injury.
Jimmer played 18 minutes in the game and scored 14 points on 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point range while making both of his free-throw attempts. Fredette also added two rebounds and an assist for the 15-26 Kings.
Sacramento is back at home on Friday night as the Indiana Pacers come to town.
