The Bulls dominated the entire night on the strength of an impressive showing from Joakim Noah in blasting the 76ers 103-78 on Saturday night.
Noah shot 9-of-14 from the floor on his way to 21 points while gathering 16 rebounds, blocking four shots and recording two steals. He wasn’t the only one for the Bulls to have a big night however. Carlos Boozer scored 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting to go along with 13 rebounds while DJ Augustin came off the bench and provided 19 points, eight assists, four rebounds and three steals.
Chicago also got 13 points off the bench from rookie Tony Snell on the strength of three made 3’s.
No Sixer scored more than 12 points in the loss thanks to a difficult night shooting the ball. Thaddeus Young led the way with 12 points although he made just 6-of-17 attempts from the field. Michael Carter-Williams also finished in double figures with 10 points, but made only 5-of-22 shots from the floor. He also added five assists and five rebounds.
Brandon Davies didn’t play much at all in the loss registering just 4:16. He scored three points on 1-of-2 shooting while making his only free-throw. Davies also registered a rebound and an assist.
Philadelphia is back on the floor on Monday afternoon as they travel to the Nation’s capital to take on the Wizards.
