The Cougar NBA tracker: Jimmer Fredette, game 37

Behind a huge night from Rudy Gay, the Kings beat the Timberwolves 111-108 in Minnesota on Wednesday night.

Gay put up 33 points on 12 of 19 shooting from the field as well as five rebounds, six assists and two steals.  Sacramento also had solid outings from Isaiah Thomas and DeMarcus Cousins in the win.  Thomas shot 10 for 16 from the field and finished with 26 points, seven assists and two steals, while Cousins finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Kevin Love led six Minnesota players in double figures with 27 points on 9 for 16 shooting to go along with 11 rebounds and five assists.  The Timberwolves also got a nice night from Nikola Pekovic who registered 14 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.

Jimmer played 6:14 and finished with two points on 50 percent shooting as well as two assists.

The Kings are back on the floor on Friday night when they travel to Memphis to take on the Grizzles.
