The Hall of Fame voting and the things associated with it later in the day didn’t make me mad like just about everyone else.  IT JUST MADE ME SAD.

I can’t understand for the life of me how a guy like Jack Morris doesn’t make get his name called.  He should have been in there 15 years ago.  I get the feeling that the guys who didn’t vote for him weren’t around the game in the 80’s and early 90’s.

That is the only explanation I can’t think of that makes any sense at all.  My only hope is that the veterans committee undoes that wrong when they get the opportunity.

It’s a sports travesty not to have Morris in Cooperstown.

That wasn’t the only thing that made me sick however.  I can’t believe that Rafael Palmeiro has fallen off the ballot.  I don’t care that he got suspended for PED’s. He hit more than 500 home runs while getting 3;000 hits.  He deserves to stay on the ballot.
