Behind a big night from Thaddeus Young, Philadelphia went into Los Angeles and came away with 111-104 victory on Sunday night.

Young put up 25 points to go along with nine rebounds, three assists and three steals. The 76ers also got solid contributions from three other starters in the win.  Evan Turner finished with 22 points, seven rebounds and six assists.  Spencer Hawes added 19 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two blocks.  Michael Carter-Williams was very solid As well.  He tallied 13 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals.

The Lakers were led by Nick Young who finished with 26 points and six rebounds off the bench.  Jordan Hill Also had a big night with 18 points and 13 rebounds in just over 26 minutes on the floor.

Brandon Davies played 6:10 and finished with one point even though he didn’t attempt a field goal.  Davies also registered two rebounds and two steals.

The 76ers will be back on the floor on New Years Day when they travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets.
