The Cougar NBA tracker: Jimmer Fredette, game 28

Thanks to a bone headed play from Mario Chalmers, the Kings were able to come back to upset the Heat in overtime 108-103.

With Miami leading by four with just over one minute remaining, Chalmers decided to give Demarcus Cousins a hockey style body check when Cousins was going in for a rebound.  He was subsequently given a flagrant foul and the Kings capitalized.  Cousins made both free throws to cut the lead to a basket, and Sacramento scored with the extra possession to tie the game.

The Kings were led on the night by Cousins who finished with 27 points, 17 rebounds, five assists and two steals.  Sacramento also got big nights from Rudy Gay and Isaiah Thomas.  Gay shot 11-for-19 from the floor and finished with 26 points while Thomas tallied 22 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds.

The Heat were led by LeBron James who finished with 33 points, eight assists and eight rebounds.  They also got a solid effort from Chris Bosh who finished with 18 points and seven rebounds.

Jimmer Fredette played 11:59 and attempted just one shot which he missed.  Even though he went scoreless on the night, Jimmer did some nice things on the floor.  He was able to hand out three assists, grab a rebound and also block a shot in the Sacramento victory.

The Kings are back in action on Sunday as they travel to San Antonio to take on the Spurs.
