If you haven’t been watching the Duke Blue Devils play basketball this year, you are missing out.  It’s not because they are a transcendent team or they have once in a life time talent either.  It is because of how one of their young stars plays the game.  He is a throw back to a time where skill on the floor was more important than athleticism.  The player I am talking about is Jabari Parker.  He is so polished on the court that you will not believe he is just a freshman.  He can do it all at such a high level that it is almost breath taking.

He has a smooth a stroke as some of the best shooters you have ever seen, but can also pass with flair, rebound with tenacity and even play great defense.  It is refreshing to watch a kid who has had so much hype surround him since a young age actually do the work to become better than expectations.

I know he may be in school for one year, so make sure you take the time to watch an amazing kid play the game the way it was meant to be played.
