The Cougar NBA tracker: Brandon Davies, game 20

Without the services of their stud rookie point guard the 76ers got run off the floor by the Charlotte Bobcats 105-88 on Friday night as Davies once again saw a decent amount of time.

Even though Tony Wroten had a monster game, Philadelphia couldn’t hang with the Bobcats without Michael Carter-Williams.

Jeffery Taylor paced six Bobcats in double figures with 20 points on 8-of-16 shooting for a team high 20 points.  Charlotte also got 18 point nights from starting guards Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson in the victory.

The Sixers were led by Wroten who finished the game with a near triple-double.  He finished the night with 21 points to go along with nine assists and eight rebounds.  Philadelphia also got double figure scoring efforts from Evan Turner, Spencer Hawes and Hollis Thompson.

On the night, Brandon Davies played 9:53 and had a solid showing.  he was 2-for-3 from the field on his way to four points.  Davies also added two rebounds, an assist and a block for the 7-13 76ers.

Even with the loss, Philadelphia is still second place in the Atlantic Division.  They will be back in action on Saturday night as the Denver Nuggets come to town.
