Jimmer didn’t play for the third game in a row as the Sacramento Kings fell just short against the powerful Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 97 to 95 on Tuesday night.
Kevin Durant lead the way as five Thunder players ended up in double figures in the victory. He finished the game with 27 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block.

He was joined in double figures by Russell Westbrook who had an off night from the field but still finished with 15 points as well as eight rebounds and seven assists.
Sacramento was led in scoring by reserve guard Isaiah Thomas who finished with 24 points, four steals and three assists in a little over 21 minutes of play.
Four other Kings joined Thomas in double figures but it wasn’t enough to outlast Oklahoma City.
The Kings were without the services of their leading scorer DeMarcus Cousins.
Although Fredette was on the active roster he was the sixth guard in a five guard rotation. For now, it appears as if all of the backup minutes on the guard line will go to John Salmons, Marcus Thornton and Isaiah Thomas. That doesn’t leave much room for Jimmer who would clearly be a better fit somewhere else.
With the loss, the Kings now have a record of 4-12. They will be back on the floor on Friday night as they are at home to take on the Los Angeles Lakers.
