The Cougar NBA tracker: Brandon Davies, game 19

Brandon Davies played more than nine minutes as the 76ers overcame a monster night from three of Orlando’s best to outlast the Magic 126-125 in overtime.

Philadelphia was at home on Tuesday night against Orlando Magic in what turned out to be one of the most entertaining games of the year thus far.

Three Magic players had monster nights to keep the game close but Philadelphia was just too much down the stretch.

The Orlando players in question were Victor Oladipo, Arron Afflalo and Glen Davis.

Oladipo played almost 52 minutes and ended the night with 26 points, ten rebounds, ten assists and three steals for his first career triple double.

Davis played over 50 minutes as well and finished the night with 33 points on 15-of-24 shooting before fouling out.

Afflalo also topped the 50 minute mark and finished the game with a career-high 43 points to go along with six rebounds, five assists and two steals.

The Sixers were led in the win by a trio of players who ended the game with at least 24 points.

Michael Carter-Williams led the way with 27 points to go along with 12 rebounds, ten assists and three steals.

Thaddeus Young also had a huge game with 25 points and 12 rebounds to go along with a pair of steals and a block.

Evan Turner also put up big numbers with 24 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals before fouling out.

On the night, Brandon Davies play just under 10 minutes of action and went scoreless while attempting three shots.  He did manage to get two rebounds, two assists and two steals however.

Philadelphia will be back on the floor on Friday night as they are in Charlotte to take on the Bobcats.
