With the scored tied at 102, Chris Paul got fouled by Patrick Patterson. Paul made 1-of-2 free throws to put the Clippers ahead. The Kings had one last chance to pull out the win but DeMarcus Cousins missed a shot from 16 feet out with a second remaining.
The Clippers were led by Paul who finished with 22 points and nine assists.
The King were led by Cousins who had a monster game. He finished with 22 points, 19 rebounds and seven assists.
Jimmer played just 4:58 and finished with two points. He shot 0-for-1 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free throw line.
The Kings will be back on the floor later today as they take on the Los Angeles Lakers.
