The shorthanded 76ers played well, but didn’t have enough in the tank In a 106-98 loss on Saturday as Brandon Davies saw some time.

Philadelphia was in Indiana to take on the Pacers without the services of starters Thaddeus Young and Spencer Hawes.

Without their two best big men, the Sixers relied on their starting back court to keep the game close.

Michael Carter-Williams And Evan Turner combined for 50 points, 17 rebounds, five assists and eight steals in the loss.

The Pacers Had five players score in double figures led by Roy Hibbert.  Hibbert finished the game with 27 points and 13 rebounds against the Sixers’ depleted front court.

On the night, Brandon Davies 6:47 and finished with two points, two rebounds and two assists while picking up four fouls.

Not his best night on the season, but Davies is still playing consistent minutes for the 6-9 76ers.

Philadelphia will be back on the floor on Wednesday night when they take on the Magic in Orlando.
