The Sixers were back to their winning ways as Brandon Davies once again played double figure minutes.
Philadelphia was back at home On Friday night against the struggling Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks came into the contest with a 2-8 record but didn’t Play like it most of the game. In fact, they had a three point lead with barely anytime left when 76ers big man Spencer Hawes saved the day. Hawes hit a desperation three with 1.7 seconds remaining to send the game to overtime. In the extra session, the Sixers took control and finished off the Bucks 115-107.
The Bucks were led by an impressive performance by Caron Butler. Butler finished the game with 38 points on 13-of-22 shooting as well as eight rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Philadelphia was led by Evan Turner who finished the game with 27 points, six rebounds and three assists. Hawes had a huge double-double in the win as well registering 25 points and 12 rebounds.
On a night where there was a ton of offense, Davies attempted no shots in 14 minutes of play and finished the game with one point after making 1-of-2 free throws. The only other stat he recorded was one turnover.
The Sixers will be back on the floor on Saturday when they take on the Pacers in Indiana.
