Last night I reached a milestone of sorts when it comes to writing this blog. It’s only been about three months since I started Jmoney34sports but last night I published my 100th piece for the site.
I had no expectations when I started writing again; I only wanted to get my voice out there in some small way. From what I’ve been told, most people who start a blog write less than ten posts before they call it quits. I didn’t think that would happen to me by any stretch of the imagination but I had no idea that I would start writing as much as I have.
What I’ve found out through these three months of writing is that this is something that I truly love to do. I love putting my thoughts and ideas down for everyone to see and comment on. I’ve always been a person who loved to communicate, even when I was very little but since I’ve been in my car for the last dozen years there has been very few people to do that with. What blogging has done for me is to help reconnect in some small way with those around me, especially those who I don’t get to talk to that often.
Even though there were no expectations coming into this endeavor, in the last few months that has changed. I know fully expect to do this for the rest of my life. I have a passion for writing and talking about sports and would probably go insane if I didn’t have this avenue to do that.
That is one of the reasons I also started my own podcast. Even though I know that there aren’t a ton of listeners out there yet it’s still so much fun to do. If you are interested in getting my podcast all you have to do is send me an email and I will get it to you.
As I look forward to the next hundred posts and who knows how many podcasts I just want to say thank you to those of you who believe in me and support me in my efforts to do this. My voice wouldn’t get out there if you weren’t reading my stuff and sharing it with your family and friends.
