If you haven’t heard, Ben Affleck was announced as the new Batman in the upcoming films.  This has cause a huge uproar with Batman fans all over the world.  Nobody seems to think that Affleck is a good fit to play the role of Bruce Wayne.  I for one agree with the masses.  In fact, when I showed the news to my wife she said “it must be made up from some internet site or something.”  She thought that he was just a terrible fit.

That got me to thinking of who would be the worst possible person for some of the past roles in movies and decided that it would be fun to come up with a list.  This list isn’t made to offend but just for a good laugh.  Try to picture each actor or actress playing the part as you read this.  It will make for a great deal of entertainment.

Note:  some of the actors might not have been old enough or even alive to play the roles suggested but they don’t have to be since you should just be trying to picture how they would play the role in their prime.

Kathy Bates as Patience Phillips in Catwoman.  That right, think about it for a second and you won’t be able to hold in the laughter.  Just imagine Bates in that tight leather cat suit.  Just delightful isn’t it.

Zack Braff as Rambo- Braff is just the scrawniest little guy so watching him trying to fight would just be priceless.

Liam Neeson as Magic Mike- he has a special set of skills but these are skills no one wants to see.

Danny DeVito as Rocky in Rock 4- the boxing scenes would just be great with Devito and Dolph Lundgren.

Arnold Schwarzenegger as Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mocking bird- this one should be self-explanatory.  Every time I think about it I can’t stop laughing.

Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson as Red Pollard in Seabiscuit- They would have to find one of the biggest horses ever if the rock were on its back all the time.

Christopher Walkin as Derek in Tooth Fairy- he would make the creepiest tooth fairy ever even if it wasn’t intentional.

Keanu Reeves as Shane Falco in the Replacements- oh wait… he actually played that role and was so bad at it that I couldn’t stop laughing.

Faizon Love as Hoke Colburn from Driving Miss Daisy- the banter back and forth with Miss Daisy would be totally over the top with Love playing the role as Colburn.

Will Ferrell as Johnny Utah in Point Break- this might just be the best movie ever with Ferrell as Utah.

Gary Busey as Raymond Babbitt from Rain Man- so many actors would be comical in this role but Busey has to be at the top of the list because there’s no way he could pull it off.

Jim Carrey as Hannibal Lector from Silence of the Lambs- Carrey might actually do a good job in this role because he is so weird but I kind of picture him playing it as “fire Marshall Bill” which would be awesome.

Sylvester Stallone as Rick Blaine in Casablanca- just picture the scene at the airport and you should already be on the ground.

David Spade as Daniel Larusso in the Karate Kid- I could see Spade taking one shot and running away crying.

Adam Sandler as Peter Parker in Spiderman- they would have to make a lot bigger spider suit if Sandler landed the lead role.

Haley Joel Osment as Harry Potter- if dead people really freaked him out imagine what he would be like trying to go against the likes of “he who shall not be named”

Channing Tatum as Ron Weasley in Harry Potter- I don’t know what Tatum would do since there isn’t either dancing or fighting in every scene.

Kevin Hart as Ken Carter in Coach Carter- Hart would be hilarious in this role for a few reasons but mainly because he’s not a big guy.  Having to yell at big ball players would be a sight to see

Jonah Hill as Officer John McClane in Die Hard- The action scenes would be priceless with Hill playing McClane.

Zach Galifianakis as Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible- not exactly a guy you think could sneak around and get the job done.

Tom Cruise as Billy Madison- this movie would be hilarious, just for all the wrong reasons.
