Andrew Watkins of Today’s Pigskin focused on former Utah Ute Eric Weddle in looking at the best safeties in the NFL.
“Weddle’s long been recognized as one of the league’s best safeties by both fans (three Pro Bowl nods) and analysts (five times as a first- or second-team All-Pro).”
Watkins continued, “Weddle certainly hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down during the first quarter of 2016. In fact, the 10-year-pro has looked as good he ever has – currently ranking as the league’s best safety on Pro Football Focus. That’s no small feat given how talent-rich the safety position is in the NFL today.”
